50 Movies I Need to See Before I Die.
I spent about 8 years as a voracious digester of movies. At one point in 2005 or so I was subscribed to both a Netflix and Blockbuster account and would regularly go to Scarecrow to pick up things they only had on VHS. I’d watch at least 2 movies a day after I was home from work, and I saw a lot of great flicks that I’d otherwise missed for reasons that aren’t clear to me.
It’s more related to that I was either making movies or I fancied myself a filmmaker of some kind, but these days I think I have a little more to prove to myself.
So here’s the thing, I’d love to get back in the swing of things and really pull out some movies that I still haven’t had the chance to watch. The first movie on the list is The Life of Emile Zola. I know it won an academy award and it’s old, so that’ll have to do for now.
