GW and I embarked on a new experiment this week trying to make some homemade bitters. She bought me a book on the history of the subject for Christmas. Left to our own devices on New Years Day, we went to Tenzing Momo, bought a bunch of herbs and spices, and proceeded to throw our hat into the ring. Our plan, once the stuff is finished bittering (or whatever it does) is to do some kind of get-together and mix a bunch of drinks with the stuff. I see many Manhattans in my future.
